About Coda Homes

Colin and Daniel Bales founded Coda Homes with their father Don, a builder whose craft and judgement set the firm's compass from day one. Fifteen years later, that compass hasn't moved. What has changed is the body of work behind it.

Who we are

Coda Homes is a family-owned licensed residential builder working across Greater Victoria. We take on custom homes, design-build projects, and select pre-sale work. Every project comes to site with the same principals, the same standards, and the same care for how the job closes as how it opens.

How we build

Most problems on a build trace back to decisions not made early enough. We spend time on a site before we price it and more time planning before we break ground. No two sites are the same and we don't treat them that way. That work doesn't show in the finished product, which is exactly the point.

Our last several homes have achieved Built Green Platinum certification, not as a marketing position, but as a result of how we build.
